Osaki is a highly reputable leader in the massage chair marketplace. With chairs of different features and price points, the Osaki OS 4000T is one of the best on the market.
The Osaki OS 4000T is a budget-friendly model, but don’t let the low price fool you. This chair is chock-full of features you would expect to find only in higher-end models. And it is a quality chair that can still fit within your budget.
So let’s take a look at all it has to offer.

Features
Body Scanning Technology

Just as no two people are built the same, no two massages are the same. This latest technological feature of body scanning maps the curvature of the back and self adjusts.
What this allows are the massage rollers to give a more precise massage, hitting all of the key areas, and making your massage more customized.
S-Track roller
A major part of every massage chair is the back roller. The roller system is responsible for massaging your back by going up and down your spine.
The Osaki OS 4000T has 4 massage rollers with a 30” adjustable width, allowing it to reach from the neck to the lower back. And for a more personal and custom massage there are also 5 intensity and 3 width settings,
However, your spine is not straight, but instead follows more of an “S” curve. The S-track twin rollers intelligent massage robot moves along the back in a way that follows this curve of the spine.

This ergonomic design makes it more efficient as the rollers can target all areas of the back uniformly and more effectively.
Next Generation Air Massage Technology
Air Massage technology, in conjunction with the massage rollers, gives you an awesome full body massage.

The OS-4000T comes with whopping 48 airbags.
These are located in the shoulders, neck, hips, arms, lower back, calves, and feet.
In addition, for more customization, there are 5 speed and intensity settings.
Zero Gravity
Zero gravity position was developed by NASA to reduce the stress and tension put on the spine during launch.
The Osaki OS 4000T massage chair has 2 zero gravity positions:
- Normal mode or true zero gravity- your feet are raised to the same level as your heart.
- Enhanced or extra recline – your legs are higher than your heart level, with an increased therapeutic effect.

Advantages of Zero gravity
- Improved Circulation—blood flows smoother and quicker.
- Reduced Muscle Tension—muscles are less tense because of even weight distribution in a zero-gravity position.
- Less Pressure on the Spine—and as a result massage is much more comfortable.
- Expanded lung capacity- since your lungs are able to fully expand, your body enjoys an increase in oxygen levels.
- Less pressure on the heart – allows blood flow to your heart easier so it can more effortlessly distribute blood throughout your body.
Mechanical Foot Rollers with Air Massage
Do you have tired and sore feet? With the combination of mechanical foot roller and air massage, the OS 4000T can help with that.

- 2 rows of spinning reflexology massagers below your feet provide a kneading massage, targeting acupressure points in the feet, reducing tension and aches
- Airbags that inflate to generate a deeper massage and allow the rollers to better target acupressure points.
Auto Leg Scan
This feature auto-adjusts the calf and foot massager to the optimal leg length, which ensures the airbags target the correct spots.
The massager will extend and retract until it finds the length where the air bags and foot rollers will be most effective.

Heated Lumbar Pads
The OS 4000T comes with 2 heating pads, one each on the right and left sides of the lower back. The addition of heat to a massage has many benefits:

- IMPROVED BLOOD FLOW – When heat is added the blood vessels become dilated, increasing the oxygen to the muscles, and helping them heal faster.
- GREATER FLEXIBILITY – Heat and massage can restore function and flexibility, giving you back the range of motion you need.
- INCREASED RELAXATION -Having a massage with heat helps to increase your relaxation which helps to relieve stress.
Arm Air Massage:
Upper and lower airbags on both arms provide a full compression massage on both the top and bottom of your arms and wrists.
The bottom portion of the massager is lined with small rubber bumps to invigorate the senses and helps increase circulation to the area.

Shoulder, Lumbar and Hip Squeeze
In the middle to upper part of the chair, air bags are programmed to inflate and deflate at different times, causing the body to twist, creating an enjoyable deep stretch. Stretching is applied to the shoulders, lower back, hips and thighs.

Seat Vibration
A vibration plate is located in the seat base and provides a vibration massage to the back of the thighs.
The Osaki OS 4000T comes with a seat vibration function that can enhance the massage experience and make it more relaxing.

Built In Control Panel & Wireless Remote

The Osaki OS 4000T comes with a full-size control panel that is convieniently attached directly to the chair within easy reach while sitting in the chair.
Located on the front of the main control panel you will find a compact wireless remote which controls the main features of the chair without having to struggle to reach the main remote in the reclined position.

Osaki OS 4000T Pros & Cons
PROS

Wireless Control – If you’ve never owned a massage chair before you may not appreciate this feature, but when you are in the middle of a massage and need to adjust the functions, this is a great feature to have

Preset Auto Programs – when you don’t feel like learning about all the functions and just want to get down to business you just need to press a button and go!

S-track technology – The rollers in the S-track can adapt more accurately to your body contour and give you enhanced comfort, resulting in a more natural massage sensation.
CONS

Designed for smaller body frame – This model is designed for people ranging in height from 5’2” to 6’4” and a maximum weight of 260lbs. Not necessarily a con unless you fall outside of this range.

Fixed width shoulder massagers – this may be an issue if you have very broad shoulders. Most of the time this will not be an issue.

No space saving recline – Again, this is not necessarily a con unless you are tight on space. Would not let this stop you from purchasing this chair
Final Verdict (4.5/5)

The Osaki-OS 4000T isn’t a new chair (it has been around for a while), but it’s price is right and is packed full of useful features.
